This was an exciting meeting for us. A lot was accomplished. For starters, we've decided to move our meetings to held every Thursday in stead of the alternating every other week schedule we had. The calendar has been updated to reflect this change.
Elections were held, and positions were filled. We now officially have a board of directors (there are currently 5 members), a president, a clerk, and a treasurer. Filling these positions was the last requirement for filing our articles of incorporation with the state. This should be done in the next week or two.
Membership dues were also voted on last night. Until a more permanent space is acquired, full members (everyone so far) will pay $25 a month, and supporting member rate will be $15 a month. Dues are to be paid on the 15th of each month. As things progress, we'll review the rates and adjust as necessary (with a vote).
Things are really picking up steam!
